The hidden city temple of Banteay Chmar was once the 4th biggest city temple complex in the Angkor kingdom of King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th or early 13th century and is located in the remote outlying province of Banteay Meanchey in NW Cambodia. The complex is now mostly collapsed ruins overtaken by rainforest.
