Children selling bright coloured silk scarves stand against a strangler fig tree with roots engulfing one of the temple towers at Prasat Chrey, Sambor Prei Kuk temple complex. The Sambor Prei Kuk Complex pre-date all the Angkorian temples by several hundred years being built in the late 6th and 7th Centuries. The temples are located in beautiful, sparsely populated forests and woodland in Kampong Thom Province. These temples were declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2017.
